Artiom Tsepotan was born on the 9th of April 1978 in Kharkov, Ukraine.

In 1999 he became an International Master.

In 2000 he got a degree in education
from Kharkov (Ukraine) University of Teaching.

His publications include: "Factors influencing the development of personality", "Chess in school", "Educational benefits of chess", "Chess in the lives of famous people" and "Computer prediction of chess positions during competitions".

Since graduation, he has worked in a Chess School in his native Kharkov. He has been awarded numerous diplomas and certificates for his coaching activity.

Among his students are International Masters and a Grand Master
who is also an Olympic Champion.

Artiom has collaborated with the father of Alexandra Kosteniuk on Internet chess projects, and he has also done analysis on the games of Anand, Leko, Adams, and Shirov for a book series being written on the best one hundred wins of each player. He has provided analysis for many other chess books as well.

In 2004, Artiom organized an international chess tournament "Glassy Stream"
(in Russian) to commemorate the 350-th anniversary of Kharkov.

On July 7, 2007 he married his girlfriend Julia.

On August 8, 2008 Artiom organized an International Chess Tournament
among ICC Students dedicated to Olympic Games-2008 in Beijing

Artiom has been one of the top ICC Vendors since January 2005.
